while Obama is giving indications that he will happily throw special interests like the teacher's unions under the bus
And he's also given strong indication that he would throw the Iraqi people and the current Iraqi government under the bus to appease the Krazy Kos Kidz.
I think (hope?) very quickly upon taking office we will hear something like "the facts on the ground have changed, opinions of military commanders must be taken into consideration, humanitarian catastrophe possible," etc."
I agree with TallDave above on this except that Sen. Obama has already left plenty of wiggle room for that position in his policy papers and speeches as has Sen. Clinton. Basically, I think that the “Krazy Kos Kidz” are already sucking wind on this issue.
Yesterday on my site there was a lengthy (by my standards) discussion of a Washington post op-ed in which three progressive foreign policy experts urged immediate withdrawal from Iraq. Those taking the side of the op-ed's authors in the discussion that ensued haven't yet seem to have grasped that their position is a non-starter. The Democratic presidential aspirants who took that position all lost resoundingly in the primaries. And, if they'd wanted to support that position they could have done so but it certainly looks to me as though victory in November were more important to them than withdrawal from Iraq.
"happily throw special interests like the teacher's unions under the bus"....source?

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.
Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
Except I actually like Hillary’s cackle.
I think it’s the most honest trait she’s let slip through.
