I don't know this Wales bloke but either he thinks the best blogs are awesome because the op-ed pieces of the New York Times are awesome. Or, there exists a hierarchy of crap within the blog-o-sphere and that the best of this crap is equalization to the crap in New York Times op-ed pieces. Which, apparently, Mr. Wales feels in the best of printed op-ed crap out there.

I think that about covers it.

Ha! The joke's on him. He's only insulting the best bloggers. He missed most all the other blogs out there.

Better luck next time, Jimmy!

It works on the other end of the spectrum, too. The worst blogs are easily the equal of Paul Krugman.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
