Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies. Rivers and seas boiling. Forty years of darkness. Earthquakes, volcanoes. The dead rising from the grave. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together - mass hysteria.

OK, maybe I'm a cynic, but I see ALL of the problems "Created" by "Bush-n-company" disappearing shortly, should a Democrat get elected President. The NY Times is just covering its bases so that if Mrs. Clinton should ascend to the thrown, the "Quagmire" of Iraq can be solved with the wave of a pen, recalling 5,000 troops and a "Peace Mission"

All of this of course would have nothing to do with the current policies Heir Capitan Bush has instated.

What's amusing/infuriating about that editorial is the dig at the end:

Unfortunately, Iraq's leaders still appear to feel no real sense of urgency. And the Bush administration — which is now talking about a "pause" in the drawdown of American troops — certainly isn't doing anything to change their minds. Right after Wednesday's vote, Parliament members began a five-week holiday.

What that neglects to mention is that they passed the recent laws while in a special legislative session, during a time (the past month+) they were scheduled to be on break.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
