Dean Esmay:
Our friend John, who lives in New Hampshire and has thus meet most of the major candidates including Obama, tells me that even though he won't vote for Obama he's pretty sure that if Obama wins he will be too responsible to really just yank our troops out of Iraq. I hope he's right.

Nor is it just Iraq, as you know. The Boston Globe today had an editorial that, as usual, blamed Israel for everything wrong in Gaza. The twit called for Israel to discuss things with Hamas: a good trick, since Hamas refuses to even admit Israel exists - just a bunch of targets with a few weapon-users sprinkled in, all of which (not of whom) must be killed.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
