I thought it said "Romans eat donuts!"

But then again, I'm looking forward to Tuesday already.

jaymaster, if I were ever to misread the headline like that -- and I'm not saying I did, mind you -- the last thing I would do is admit it in writing.

The second-to-the-last thing I would do is add, "Me, too!"

Why yes, since you asked, I am getting pretty hungry...

Why should the Romans leave? King Herod may not have had the WMD program we though he had in 63 BC, but who can deny that between sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, Judea is a much better place to live now than it was before the Romans invaded.

I'm with Maniakes.
I for one welcome our glorious Roman overlords.

Martin,

It’s like that “Designated Hitler” thing from a few months back.

I don’t know if it’s a Rorschach kind of thing, or maybe even mild dyslexia.

But I AM hungry....

Oops.

Left off "too".

I don't know Western Burgers; but I had a Red Robin Banzai Burger yesterday at a colleague's farewell party. I'm still enjoying the memory today.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
