I read her book "Mindset" last year, and it revolutionized my thinking. Unfortunately I was raised by parent who constantly told me how smart I was. I did very well in school, and even college on natural ability.
Unfortunately in the real world there were plenty of people who were getting ahead of me even though I knew I was smarter. Instead of working harder, I became jealous, resentful and down on myself. Being in sales has taught me that the smartest people aren't the best sales people, the hardest working people are. It's a humbling lesson for people who have growm up being told how smart they are, and not learning the importance of effort.

That article is something I'm going to re-read, over and over again, while raising our children. The wife liked the article too.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
