Dean's World

Defending the liberal tradition in history, science, and philosophy.

Not Finished

I was completely unable to access this blog yesterday, either too busy at work, or, the server was responding so badly I couldn't do anything. Otherwise I would have updated Dave Schuler's posting of the latest Miklos/Beard piece to note that the piece is not finished, that there is more to come that's not all negative, and that it's linked to previous articles.

Anyway I'll try to get the rest of it put together tonight and the finale tomorrow: The Hope and Failure is Not a Crime, Failure to Learn from Failure Is.

You've got an un-terminated bold there, Dean.

Yep. Looks like it is in the line:

I've got it edited, Dean. I should have it up tonight, scheduled for posting tomorrow. I didn't put it up last night because of the server issues you mentioned.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
