What Echo Chamber?
Scott Kirwin
I'm getting pretty annoyed when I read Media criticism of the blogosphere calling it an echo chamber - especially in a science magazine that never questions Global Warming orthodoxy or fails to fawn over a liberal politician like Al Gore.
What echo chamber? The one where Aziz, Ali, Kevin D, Dean, Matoko, Michael Demmons, Ron and I all agree on anything? Read my take here.

CR@P!
"Wow!" I thought to myself, "That's pretty blatant. Although perhaps it had originally been Smith,Jones, Finkelstein, Goldman, Stein &Geldfarb and this was easier to print on business cards. Either that, or maybe Smith and Jones are the only two goyim in the firm and, as before, it was just easier to do it this way."
I'm with Hoke on this one.
I blame the Pultizer Prize committee.

I suspect that remark has overtones...
But do you know what the name was before they changed it?!
Is it something Yiddish?
I know Silverstein. He married platinum blonde.
Been hearing it for years. I guess it works if you hang out at Daily Kos or Little Green Footballs. Otherwise, whatever: are you actually reading?
I think a particular blog can be an echo chamber. But you are right. There are certainly a diverse lot of opinions. You and I will agree or disagree on a lot of things, sure.
Obviously, whoever called the blogosphere an echo chamber doesn't dive into the comments.
But again, a particular blog CAN be an echo chamber. I find that especially true on far left/right partisan blogs like Malkin, Hewitt, Kos, AmericaBlog, etc.
I wish they'd shut the f--k up in movies! :-)
Me too! I hate it when Gay Jews drone on and on at the movies.
Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.
Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
