Dean's World

Defending the liberal tradition in history, science, and philosophy.

Wow.

This sounds intriguing -- a report from Michael Yon in Iraq that you just have to read for yourself.

It was not only a good story, it was an amusing one as well.

A fine piece of work for Crissman.

And it points to a larger much grimer picture of how we cannot hope to win when Iraqi military leaders are accomplices in terrorist acts. He's only the tip of the iceberg.

Now that's a non-sequitur if I ever heard one.

I can't agree, Dean. It's all perspective. You see good news: we found and arrested a corrupt Iraqi general. Tim sees proof that there are corrupt Iraqi generals, just as he expected.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
