I hope for the best, I do. But the problem is that Nasrallah was willing to sell the prosperity of present generations Sunnis and Christians (and yes, some Shia too) for the benefit of this constituency of his (and maybe Syria and Iran too?).
Nasrallah has directed his Hezbollah to focus on rapid reconstruction in villages and towns, right up to the Israeli border. He cannot start another round of fighting because that would destroy everything again.
I hope the Jews are compelled to fight these bastards forever. It will make them into the toughest folks on the planet.
Then and only then, will the real Israel arise, in the image of the great men who founded it 3400 years ago and the equally great men who rebuilt it against all odds in the 19th and 20th centuries.

According to other reliable sources, the Arab population is about 320 million.
I don't care how smart, tough, and dangerous these crazy Jews are: can the Israelis really take over the Middle East?
Can New Jersey, under the leadership of John Corzine, take down the Canadians and the Mexicans and the Guatemalans and the rest of the USA?
Plus there's this reality: most Israelis have no such designs. They just want to live in peace and work it out.
