A Tale of Two Cockatoos

A Tale of Two Cockatoos

This may be old news to y'all but if you like birds, true love, adversity, and raising young 'uns (I may be repeating myself here), check out

A Tale of Two Cockatoos

Lots of pictures. Touching story if you're a soppy romantic like me.

That was beautiful! (Yes, I'm a closet romantic...)

I have to give the author credit for dealing with adversity himself. I don't know if I'd risk chunks of my feet getting separated from the rest of me to take a picture of a pink ball with yellow fuzz.

A good story though. I liked how he made connections between the Cockatoo parents and human parenting.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
