Thats not a conscience, but a one out of a million negative reports, so they can say they are not biased.

See we report what the troops think and say.

Those soldiers are right. We need to not only support them but also their mission.

In truth, I was beginning to wonder for a few weeks about the war. I was wavering but not anymore. Getting back online has helped me so much.

I'm glad NBC did that video. How I wish they would do more.

Yeah, thats why anyone saying that they support the troops but not the war, not the mission, etc., is clearly way off base.

Thats like saying I support my wife, but that selling Avon job she has is stupid, that she doesn't know what she's doing with raising the kids, etc. "Bring home my wife" means put her back in the kitchen where she's safe. But that won't solve anything.

My scale of whose opinion is worth something concerning the war:
1. Troops actually there.
2. Troops who were there.
3. VFW members.
4. American Legion members.
5. Other former members of the armed forces.
6. Spouses and family of currently serving troops.
....
3259. Democrats in Congress.
....
9493. Celebrities.
....
10234. Moonbats who say they support the troops and that they should come home.

Chad,

what about members of number 3259 who happen to also be members of any or all of numbers 2-6?

Dean Esmay:
Yeah there are a couple of those, aren't there?

Some of us, however, still wonder what ever happened to the simple "We want them to succeed in their mission" credo.

Declaring it a failure when by objective historical standards it's clearly not one is mighty frustrating to watch.

thank you for posting this. now go over to blackfive and read the letter to America from the SSG in Afghanistan. If only congress would listen to this stuff.

Thanks. I'll post that, even though I'm not sure I agree with it entirely.
