The joke is that they know America can bomb them on tv and give us something to cheer for, but because they know America is weak, it is a joke to even consider any retribution for their insults at America.

Reminds me of the treason doth never prosper quote. When people are rewarded, reality don't matter, they shape reality then.

Thousands of pro-Taliban tribesmen threatened to send suicide bombers to attack Pakistani forces and execute people found spying for the Americans in a fiery protest Tuesday denouncing the Pakistani air raid the killed 80 people a day earlier.

Inayatur Rahman, a local pro-Taliban elder, said he had prepared a "squad of suicide bombers" to target Pakistani security forces in the same way that militants are attacking Americans in
Afghanistan and Iraq.

"We will carry out these suicide attacks soon," he said, asking the crowd if they approved the idea. The angry mob yelled back in unison, "Yes!"..

..The rally also adopted a verbal resolution to stone to death anyone found spying for the Pakistan army or U.S. government.

This isn't a protest, it's not free speech, it's a group of combatants declaring war. If we can't recognize a target-rich enviornment when we see it, how are we supposed to win a war?

The protesters look like the typical rent-a-rioters. You know, like the idiots who protested the Pope by burning American and Israeli flags, regardless of the fact that the Pope is neither Jewish nor American?

That said: I would not be opposed to lobing a cruise missile at Inayatur Rahman.
