King of Fools (mail) (www):
Is there an ebook version (iSilo please) available?
8.30.2006 12:00pm
Dean Esmay:
Not at this time, although I will say that anyone who orders the signed &#'d edition will get a free PDF copy as well, if they want one.

That's the best we can do right now, we might have more later.

If and when that time comes, Dean, I vote for MS Reader format as well. There's a simple add-in for Word for exporting to Reader; or if need be, I can export it for you.

Jay Solo (mail) (www):
You say it's PayPal only (which we don't have), but on the order page it says "don't have PayPal? Use your credit card or debit card" (approximately, quoting from memory). Is that for real, and it's just that PayPal handles it in either case?
8.30.2006 12:23pm
Dean Esmay:
All right, well, if you'll help with that I'll add that as a free option for anyone who orders this limited edition.

I know it's pricey. We think you'll find it worth it.

Martin L. Shoemaker (www):
Pricey? $50 for a signed hardbound limited edition? Are ye daft, man? That's market price, maybe even a tad low!

I'm just trying to scrape together the funds. First paycheck for the new contract hasn't come in yet, so I've got a precarious budget for a bit longer.

Dean Esmay:
Signed, numbered, hardbound limited edition, & also the very FIRST EDITION. And once they're gone they're gone. :-)

I emailed Oprah to let her know...

Perhaps, you should just send her a copy as a gift.

And Dean, if Professor Reynolds doesn't get one, my assessment of your intellect will drop precipitously. He seems to always mention the books he gets, even if he never gets around to reading them. (And he reads and reviews an awful lot of them.)
8.30.2006 1:11pm
Dean Esmay:
Oh he'll get one.

I don't know if I can afford to send him the limited edition hardbound but I'll definitely offer him a free copy of the regular edition.

And the answer to my question would be "yes, you can use a credit card even if you don't have a PayPal account; it's just that it's all handled by PayPal unless you want to pay by check."
8.30.2006 2:17pm
Dean Esmay:
Jay, I'm sorry, I missed your question. But yes you're absolutely correct. Paypal will accept any regular debit or credit card, just about. You don't have to have your own Paypal account (although you'll basically get one for free if you use it).

Paypal's our only option for now but we will have others.

Michael Demmons (mail) (www):
Dean: How long will it take to receive a copy?
8.30.2006 2:57pm
Dean Esmay:
Couple weeks. Although I'll email the PDF pretty much immediately if you want it.

Tyrone Steels II (mail) (www):
Limited edition, eh?? HMMMM!!! Can't resist that. I'm in!

Deanna Barr (mail):
My Paypal payment will be there right shortly...

Damn fine read, this book. I will look forward to a first edition copy to put in my library.
8.30.2006 3:44pm
Dean Esmay:
(Deanna read an early draft. There's stuff she hasn't read yet in the final version that she can look forward to. :-)
8.30.2006 3:58pm
Michael Demmons (mail) (www):
Cool. I bought it.
8.30.2006 4:38pm
Deanna Barr (mail):
What??? New stuff! Too kewl! I will most definitely be looking forward to reading it again, despite that I just read it for the second time last week.

Now if I can only get Paypal to recognize my new email so the gift certifcate I'm supposed to be getting deposited in my Paypal account will actually be deposited so I can get money to you for my new book...

MaryJ:
Oh, I am so excited and may I add, PROUD of you two!?! Please send me a first addition and I will get funds to you later, as this move is expensive. I didn't realize all the things it would cause to my bank account but in a few months I will be fine.

I am filled with JOY, utter JOY and tears of pride are welling up in my eyes. What I have read is remarkable and I am so very, very eager my Son!

(Alice, that was a smart move and I bet it is really appreciated!)
