L.A. Times vs. New York Times

So the New York Times has gained a well-earned reputation for slipshod, dishonest, absurdly partisan reporting when it comes to any issue that remotely touches on American politics. But the real question is, which is worse? The New York Times or the Los Angeles Times? Patterico's been doing a great job pointing out just how bad the L.A. Times has gotten. Who watches the watchmen? Patterico, for one.

I doubt either paper will return as a serious source until it changes hands.
The LAT hasn't "sunk" anywhere. They've been there for a while.
Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.
